The Passengers are based in Monmouthshire, South Wales. The band name was originally Matt Vinyl & The  Decorators - the name of a New Wave College Band - set up by the lead vocalist back in 1978. It was popular then but now the music has changed and the band felt it "too punk" and not really expressing the music we play as a band today. Thus was born The Passengers in August 2008 - some 30 years on !!

With vast experience amongst the band dating back to the mid 70s in one format another, high quality entertainment is assured. Busking, Drama and Theatre, Community Bands, TV, Live Performances, Composing, Song Writing  - you name it and at least one of us has done it !!

We aim to introduce absolute quality to our performances and events. Rehearsals play a huge part in this quest and the entire first half of 2009 was devoted to rehearsal time.
